Zurawski in Galaxy Scope

According to his agent, seldom used Celtic striker Maciej Zurawski could soon clinch a move to the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Jerzy Kopiec has arrived in the City of Angels to discuss a two-year deal for the Poland captain.

"The offer from Galaxy is very serious," he told the Daily Mail. "They are really determined to sign Maciej and treat him as a big star."

Zurawski has scored 30 times for the Hoops since arriving from Wisla Krakow in 2005, but has been limited to seven sub appearances this season.

The 31-year old has tried to remain non-commital, but admits he would seek the same international career cooperation given to David Beckham.

"The transfer window will open very soon and we will see what happens," said Zurawski, known as "Magic" back in Poland. "Right now, I will not say anything because nothing is sure yet."

"If I was to switch to the United States, then I hope there would not be a problem travelling back for national games."
