▪ Netherlands Weekend Review

Nate Jaqua and Cashpoint Altach took an early lead and held on late for a 1-1 draw at last place Wacker Innsbruck on Saturday afternoon.

The American striker worked his usual 90 minutes up top, picking up a second half yellow card for a hard foul.

Altach opened the scoring in the 17th minute as Manfred Pamminger got to the end of a corner kick for his first goal of the season.

A few moments later, Jaqua had a penalty gripe ignored by referee Guido Wildhaber.

Wacker midfielder Andreas Hölzl was twice denied by Altach keeper Mario Krassnitzer in the first half, but had the last laugh in the 56th minute. The #11 shirt dutifully nodded in a cross from former Aalborg man Mattias Lindström to equalize for the Black-Greens.

The hosts remained the busier side, but the closest they would come to a winner was when Václav Koloušek slammed a last minute shot off the crossbar.

Altach will turn around quickly to host traditional Austrian power Sturm Graz on Wednesday.
