Aarhus GF attacker Jeremiah White says he is eager to get to the business of his first US Men's National Team camp.

A good first year in Danish football was rewarded on New Year's Eve with his first international call-up when Bob Bradley named his 26-man training camp roster leading up to a friendly against Sweden.

"I am happy about the call-up," White told American Soccer Daily. "Its a pretty neat feeling given the fact that I have taken a very different and, at times, risky route to get to this point."

The path took him from French second flight Gueugnon to the Danish second flight last January, and he was instrumental in the AGF's promotion to the SAS Liga.

"I think the call up comes now because I have worked hard and been pretty consistent since my arrival in Denmark," said White.

With no national team experience at any level, the former Wake Forest star is a relative unknown to the American soccer audience, but is hoping to make an impression.

"I don't have any expectations," he says. "I just want to get there and do my very best."

White joins the rest of the squad when the training camp begins at the Home Depot Center on Thursday.
