Wambach Knock Not Serious

US Women's National Team strike star Abby Wambach has been given the all clear to ship out Tuesday for World Cup prep camp in Shanghai after a negative X-ray on her toe.

The #20 shirt was injured in a challenge during their 4-0 friendly win over Finland at the Home Depot Center on Saturday, departing the match in favor of Carli Lloyd after less than a half hour had expired.

"Abby's tough enough that some minor pain is not going to stop her,” said US coach Greg Ryan told USSoccer.com.

Wambach currently stands as the USWNT's fifth all-time leading goal scorer.

The Rochester, New York native tops the team with 11 goals in 2007, and has hit for 77 in 96 career caps.

She struck three times to help the US claim bronze at the 2003 World Cup, including a winner against Norway in the quarterfinals.

The Lady 'Nats will kick off World Cup 2007 group play against North Korea in Chengdu, China on September 11th (5:00 am ET on espn2).
