Collegiate midfielders Tina DiMartino (UCLA), Tobin Heath (North Carolina) and Ali Krieger (Penn State) have earned their first full international call-ups, along with defenders Keeley Dowling (Tennessee) and Becky Sauerbrunn (Virginia).

They will be joining veterans such as Cat Whitehill and Abby Wambach as the team meets in Carson, California for a six-day training camp at the Home Depot Center.

"This is an exciting tournament as they will be the first games with the new coaching staff," Sundhage told ussoccer.com.

"The injuries we have to some veterans will most likely give some young players a chance, and it's important to find a good mix of young inspiration with experience."

The team starts the tournament against Canada on January 16th, followed by games against Finland and China.
