The match comes just three weeks after the team is slated to face Sweden at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 pm CT, with live stateside coverage on both espn2 and Univision.

These two CONCACAF powers last squared off in June in a match won by the Americans to garner the Gold Cup and regional bragging rights. The game follows just months after a proposed September 9th friendly with El Tri at Mexico City's famed Azteca Stadium was canceled due to contractual disputes.

With Bradley having rung in numerous personnel changes in recent months, with a great emphasis on young players, the clash might well offer Benfica prodigy Freddy Adu and a host of others their first chance to taste the heated rivalry. With World Cup qualifying just around the corner, playing time could be a good test for any host of young fringe players looking to prove themselves worthy of inclusion in the run-up to 2010.

In recent years, the US has boasted tremendous success against its continental rival, holding onto a 8-0-1 record for matches played on home soil.
