Bradley Summons 26 to Camp

by Greg Seltzer - December 31, 2007

US Men's National Team boss Bob Bradley has called 26 players to the first camp of 2008, which will begin on January 3rd at the Home Depot Center.

The gathering will lead up to a January 19th friendly against Sweden, also at the Carson, California arena.

With most European leagues in full swing, only three players will arrive from overseas. Aalborg captain Danny Califf is back, along with debut seeker Jeremiah White of Aarhus GF and Brann handyman Ramiro Corrales, who has not featured for the 'Nats since 2004.

Among the 23 MLS invitees are four players who will be searching for their first caps: netminders Will Hesmer and Matt Pickens, and defenders Clarence Goodson and Eddie Robinson.
