▪ Netherlands Weekend Review

TOP Oss got their final run at a period title back on track with a last gasp Aziz Moutawakil winner to beat visiting Go Ahead Eagles on Monday night.

Charles Kazlauskas went the full route in right midfield to help his side claim three important points.

The American nearly started the scoring off early by splitting the center backs to collect a through ball and net, only to be flagged for offside.

TOP essentially bossed the match from start to finish, with Go Ahead limited to a pair of speculative Achmed Ahahaoui efforts from long range that Wilko de Vogt handled easily.

However, the Men from Oss were unable to take the lead until late, despite a seemingly endless supply of dangerous looking set pieces. Kazlauskas twisted his body to get a head on one corner kick, but screwed it wide.

In stoppage time, a very insistent TOP finally got their reward when Davy Zafarin lofted a diagonal cross that sub Moutawakil buried at the far post with an acrobatic volley.

TOP remain at home to tackle Omniworld on Friday night.

Scoring
TOP - Aziz Moutawakil (Davy Zafarin) 90+2'
