According to Soccer by Ives, the New Jersey native will undergo a weekend medical before inking a three-year contract with Los Verdiblancos.

The signing of Szetela caps a strong final week of dealing that also saw Poland wing ace Ebi Smolarek and Anderlecht hit man Mohammed Tchité.

The Under-20 World Cup standout, who was set to run out of contract at season's end, joins the La Liga middlers for a $150,000 transfer fee.

Since bagging three goals at the summer tourney, Szetela had been courted by about a dozen European suitors, including Everton, Hertha Berlin and Rangers.
