The US international has pain in his left abductor, and was not dressed Saturday as the Rondinelle topped Cesena, but is in fitness training.

"It's a little problem," Brescia press officer Stefano Gelona told American Soccer Daily. "But this week, Danny will work and will do rehab."

Gelona was categorical over the slim chance that Szetela would be utilized when fourth place Brescia visits eighth place Mantova: "It's very unlikely."

Szetela is more likely to make the field when the Biancazzurri have three straight matches the following week.

For now, the former Columbus Crew midfielder is enjoying his Italian experience and happy to have more playing time, relative to his adventure in Spain with Racing Santander.

"I know head coach Serse Cosmi is famous for his ability to work with young players," Szetela told ASD after his daily rehab.

"Now, I'm focused on learning the Italian language, and already understand some words. I'm going to school to learn technical language first, which is the most important thing."
