Charlie Davies' Hammarby have a pivotal derby game on Tuesday night when they face off against Stockholm rivals Djurgårdens at Råsunda stadium.

Hammarby's cup loss last week can be in large part attributed to Davies' poor form in front of net. However, the young American did everything but score against Norrköping and his performance may have been enough to push him back into Tony Gustavsson's starting eleven.

The match represents a possible turning point for Hammarby, who remain in the middle of the table due to an up-and-down season thus far.

A win would bring the Stockholm team to within three points of league leaders Halmstads BK while a loss could leave them rooted near the bottom of the league. A win for Djurgårdens, meanwhile, would put them alone at the table of the tight standings.

HIF enter the match with a nearly full squad, while Djurgårdens will be without captain Markus Johannesson and Sweden forward Mattias Jonsson to suspension and injury, though they welcome back South African striker Lance Davids.

Hammarby went winless and goalless against Djurgårdens last year after a scoreless away tie and a 3-0 defeat on their home turf.
