New York Red Bulls captain Claudio Reyna is battling a groin injury that may keep him off the pitch Saturday against the Los Angeles Galaxy.

The former US midfielder suffered the knock in Sunday's win against Toronto FC.

"Claudio is out with a right groin strain," Red Bulls press officer Eric Tosi told American Soccer Daily. "He is questionable for the weekend."

Reyna has played in 15 of the clubs 19 games this season, recording three assists.
