In Sunday's final of the Pan Pacific Championship, the Houston Dynamo scored first, but a goal barrage by Gamba Osaka saw the Japanese side win the title 6-1.

Ricardo Clark opened the scoring with a header in the 11th minute.

The Japanese side responded with six unanswered goals, including a four-goal performance Baré. The Brazilian forward scored two goals in each half to lead the rout.

In the third place match, Los Angeles Galaxy maestro David Beckham led the MLS side to a 2-1 victory over Sydney FC.

The former England captain sparked the Galaxy attack, assisting on first half goals by Ely Allen and Josh Tudela in the victory.
