FFK GRABS MUCH NEEDED WIN

Brian West
entered the match in the 56th minute for Ismael Beko Fofana and caused immediate problems for the IK Start defense, who were already down one.

FFK doubled their lead a minute after the speedy American's entry and tallied a third only moments later when West fed Gardar Johannsson inside the area. Johannsson made no mistake, taking time to settle the ball before blasting past the Start keeper to cap a 3-0 result.

With the victory Fredrikstad climbs to fifth in the rankings on 15 points, only five behind league leaders Brann who were the victims of a six-nil thrashing at the hands of Lyn on Saturday. Up next for FFK is an away bout with Sandefjord on Wednesday.
