Ramiro Corrales and Brann solidified their second place standing ahead of the summer break while Sogndal moved fourth in the second flight with a winner deep into stoppage time.

BRANN RALLY AT HOME
Brann Bergen will spend the Norwegian summer break in second place as they came from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Tromsø on Sunday evening.

Ramiro Corrales went the distance in Brann's defense and played his part in a bizarre twist halfway through the second half.

Tromsø went ahead after 31 minutes when a 45-yard shot from Yngvar Håkonsen took a deflection off Helge Haugen's back to beat keeper Håkon Opdal, but the lead only lasted two minutes before Vaagan Moen blasts in the equalizer on a set piece assisted by Martin Andresen.

It was 1-1 at halftime, but 23 minutes into the second, Ole Martin Årst raised his hands to protect his face from a Corrales free kick sent straight into the wall and referee Brage Sandmoen pointed to the spot. Andresen executed the penalty and Brann took the 2-1 lead to the final whistle.

Brann's summer break ends July 22nd with a home game against league leaders Stabæk.

FFK, ODD SHARE SPOILS
Neither team had much to cheer about after a 1-1 result in Sunday evening's Yank v Yank match between Fredrikstad and Odd Grenland.

Nat Borchers played the full 90 minutes in Odd's defense, while Brian West replaced Ismael Fofana to play the last 11 minutes for Fredrikstad.

Odd took the lead after 29 minutes when Morten Fevang sent in a cross to Espen Ruud, who was first to the rebound after keeper Rami Shaaban had made an excellent save on his first shot. The second, however, was an easy tap-in for Ruud.

The lead lasted until 12 minutes into the second half when Raymond Kviskvik chipped the ball into the area where Fofana, in a seemingly fair duel with Per Nilsson, fell to the ground and referee Roy Olsen pointed to the spot, waving away protests from the FFK players. John Anders Bjørkøy scored on the penalty for the final score.

Fredrikstad takes on Lillestrøm at home on July 22nd, while Odd Grenland play hosts to Strømsgodset.

SOGNDAL CLIMB TO FOURTH
Sogndal moved into fourth place in the Norwegian second flight Adeccoligaen with a come from behind 2-1 win over Tromsdalen on Sunday afternoon.

Brian Waltrip played the full 90 for the hosts.

A wide open Morten Giæver brought Tromsdalen ahead after 31 minutes with a shot from 25 yards with no chance for Sogndal keeper Terje Skjeldestad.

The lead lasted until the 56th minute when Lennox Kanu side footed a cross from Henrik Furebotn into the net for the equalizer.

The game looked like a draw, but five minutes into injury time, Rune Bolseth received the ball after a throw-in and sent it into the net out of Eirik Sørensen's reach.

Sogndal are still in the promotion race when they meet Cam Weaver's Haugesund on July 21st.
