Rodolfo Rodriguez would provide all the scoring the home side needed in the 11th minute, and Haugesund would escape with 1-0 victory to advance to the finals.

With Haugesund's first free kick opportunity of the contest, Dag Roar Ørsal found Rodriguez, who left Rune Jarstein no play with his well placed shot past the Odd keeper.

Five minutes after seeing the opposing side open up the scoring, Borchers put a header on target that Weaver cleared for Haugesund.

Borchers was able to get a head to free kicks twice in the second half, but neither would make it past Haugesund keeper Per Morten Kristiansen.

Haugesund now face Lillestrom on November 11th to dispute the Cup crown. Should fourth place top flighters LSK end up among the UEFA Cup qualifiers, Haugesund will also claim a berth, win or lose in the final.
