PSV DRAW TAKES H'VEEN SECOND
US midfielder Michael Bradley continued his goal parade with a key second half equalizer to earn Heerenveen a 1-1 share at PSV Eindhoven on Saturday night.

The youngster worked the full 90 minutes as the Pride of Friesland hoisted themselves into second place.

The match was less than a minute old when Otman Bakkal skyed to nod home a good cross from January buy Balazs Dzsudzsák to put the Farmers ahead.

The teams then slugged out an intense first half, with the netminders trading big saves back and forth. PSV keeper Gomes shut down good chances for Gerald Sibon and Danijel Pranjic, while opposite Brian Vandenbussche did likewise on Dzsudzsák and Ibrahim Affelay.

The visitors pulled level seven minutes after the break as Bradley rang the bell once again from a Sibon set-up. The American used exceptional body control to bat the bouncing ball past Gomes on the fly to even the score.

The game stayed brisk in nature and each side had opportunities to find a winner, most notably when Gomes stared down a Sibon drive.

Heerenveen return to action Saturday at 14th place Heracles.

TOP CONTINUE PLAYOFF ASSAULT
Charles Kazlauskas and TOP Oss rallied from a goal down to win at Cambuur Friday night to stand as the only 100% club in the fifth Jupiler League period.

After narrowly missing out on the last promotion playoff entry prize, the men from Oss are a point shy of this segment's leaders, but with a game in hand.

It did not start out well for the visitors, who fell behind after 16 minutes on an uncharacteristic Dirk Schoofs gaffe. The skipper hit a pass back to the keeper far too softly, and Cambuur counterpart Ren van der Weij was only too happy to scoop up the lazy ball and round Wilko de Vogt to slot the opener.

TOP drew level just before the half hour when Eric Quekel pounced on a long throw-in that was misplayed badly by Cambuur keeper Peter van der Vlaag.

The home side nearly regained the lead after halftime, but Bennie van Noord's sneaky free kick caught the post and Adnan Barakat fired the rebound wide of a yawning net.

With seven minutes left, Quekel struck his lucky 13th of the season of another Cambuur miscue at the back. The striker ran onto a bouncing ball at the top of the area and promptly deposited the winner low to the left.

Kazlauskas & Co. now have five wins and two draws from their last eight and return home to face FC Zwolle on Friday night.

CL - Ren van der Weij 3 16'
TOP - Eric Quekel 12 29'
TOP - Eric Quekel 13 83'
