The Horses, who won the Danish Cup in 2006, will take an extended look at the pair with an open mind as to whether to approach Nguyen as a loan signing or a permanent transfer. The US international has not appeared for the PSV first team since Guus Hiddink was in charge back in that same year.

"The two American players are on trials in Randers FC for the rest of the month," Randers press officer Ib Rasmussen told American Soccer Daily. "After the trial period, we will evaluate their performances in terms of a possible "no go", loan agreement or contract."

With the PSV expecting Huub Stevens to arrive from Hamburg in the summer, the club prefer a loan and will only part with the 21-year old for the right price.

"PSV wants to keep him as he is a big talent, but since he is not playing first team but doing very well on the second team, they would loan him or if the deal was right let him move to another club," Nguyen agent Lyle Yorks told American Soccer Daily.

"There is interest from a French club, Spanish club and a Danish club, which is Randers. Lee has another one-and-a-half years on his contract at PSV, so the situation has to be right."

John, a former US Under-20 teammate of Nguyen's, played three games in 2007 for his hometown Wizards.
