With the start to his season delayed by an ankle nag, PSV Eindhoven youngster Lee Nguyen reports that he is finally ready to resume training on Thursday.

After some early star shows in the second team, the former Indiana Hoosier drew loan interest from clubs in England, France and Spain, as well as the Netherlands.

He appeared set for an Eredivisie loan spell until coach Ronald Koeman decided he would get his chance at Philips Stadion, and soon thereafter, the ankle problem occurred.

"Its better now," Nguyen told American Soccer Daily on Wednesday. "(We) just wanted to make sure it was completely ready before going back to full training. I'll be back with the group tomorrow."

Though several of the team's stars are away on international duty, the remaining 12 first teamers remain hard at work at the Farmers' De Herdgang complex.

Though he has been promised the chance to compete for Eredivisie playing time Koeman, the US international will get his first crack at action when Young PSV host their Roda JC counterparts on Monday.
