Local boy Zack Schilawski scored with 13 minutes remaining to give Wake Forest their first NCAA title on a 2-1 victory over Ohio State in Cary, North Carolina on Sunday.

"It's unbelievable," he told reporters. "Growing up here, I've seen a lot of great games on that field. It's a thrill just to be a part of a game like that, much less to win it."

Roger Espinoza gave the Buckeyes the lead after only 13 minutes as the team outshot Wake Forest 9-3 in the first half.

However, the Demon Deacons claimed a 9-0 shots advantage after the break, with College Cup Most Outstanding Offensive Player Marcus Tracy knotting the match from a Cody Arnoux feed in the 66th minute.

On the winner, Tracy split two defenders to run the right before centering for Schilawski's historic goal.
