Determined to get an early start preparing for next season, Toronto FC coach Mo Johnston will begin trialing former Serbia striker Savo Milošević on Thursday.

▪ By the Numbers: Sacha Kljestan
▪ Razov Out 4-6 Weeks

The 34-year old aerial ace, who has starred for the likes of Partizan Belgrade, Aston Villa and Real Zaragoza during a career that has seen him net 196 league goals in 16 seasons, was allowed to run out of contract by Spanish top flighters Osasuna this summer.

Milošević is the first of over 20 players Johnston has targeted for either offseason approaches or MLS deals, which he has already begun talking with league general managers.

Concerning the foreign target forward currently on the roster, the coach could see the return of Danny Dichio from injury in Saturday's season finale against New England at BMO Field.

"I know Danny wants badly to play, but it will be a game-time decision," Johnston told the Toronto Star. "I don't see him starting but he could come off the bench."
