Jeremiah White and Aarhus GF did the business late to leap out of the SAS Liga basement with a 3-1 win at Lyngby on Saturday evening.

The American went the distance with an assist at right midfield for the visitors, who moved up two places to a safety slot in 10th.

After a largely uneventful first period, AGF turned up the heat after intermission. Kári Árnason should have done better than to fire over in the 48th minute, but he made amends by serving up the opener for Peter Graulund with 20 to play.

In the 80th minute, White ran the right to center for Graulund, who dutifully buried the pass to grab a share of the league scoring lead.

Mikkel Beckerman followed his own shot to put the home side back in it seconds later, but Lars Pleidrup opened his season account from another Árnason assist in the 85th minute to seal the deal.

AGF will now return home to welcome tabletop FC Copenhagen next Saturday.
