BRADLEY HITS IN FRISIAN CRUISE
Michael Bradley extended his scoring streak to four games by capping a 3-0 Heerenveen away defeat of Dutch amateur champs Argon on Wednesday.

An early giveaway by the American led to a Ben Ebu-Mordi breakaway, but Brian Vandenbussche was equal to the test.

Just past the quarter hour, Bradley fired a low shot that Argon keeper Eelco Zeinstra failed to smother, allowing Gerald Sibon to swoop in for an easy net job.

Soon thereafter, Sibon stole near the area to feed for Miralem Sulejmani at the far post, but Zeinstra was able to scramble across to make the save.

Heerenveen doubled their lead in the 30th minute as Thomas Prager played Sulejmani through for a cheeky finish off the post.

Sibon should have bagged his second just after the break, but the veteran lifted Danijel Pranjic's centering pass onto the crossbar.

Bradley lashed in the Frisians' third moments later from nearly 25 meters and should have made his brace shortly thereafter from a Sibon chest pass, but shot over frame.

Argon could have reduced the arrears in the late going, but Ebu-Mordi somehow managed to miss Jasper de Haer with an easy square pass after Vandenbussche stranded himself outside the area.

Scoring
HEER - Gerald Sibon 16'
HEER - Miralem Sulejmani (Thomas Prager) 30'
HEER - Michael Bradley (Gerald Sibon) 52'

HEER - Brian Vandenbussche; Gianni Zuiverloon, Michael Dingsdag, Kristian Bak-Nielsen, Michel Breuer, Thomas Prager, Michael Bradley, Roy Beerens, Danijel Pranjic, Miralem Sulejmani, Gerald Sibon

AFONSO OUSTS TOP NEAR THE DEATH
TOP Oss were dumped from the KNVB Cup draw on Tuesday by a 90th minute strike from Veendam brace grabber Guilherme Afonso.

Charles Kazlauskas went his typical 90 minutes in defense for the hosts.

Afonso opened the scoring in the 35th minute, and TOP were fortunate not to quickly go down two after Arjen Postma rang the woodwork with a drive.

Kazlauskas squandered a chance to level matters just before the break, firing wide from a Eric Quekel set-up.

Revy Rosalia entered the fray at halftime and needed less than a minute to equalize from a corner kick.

The match would be decided in the final minute as Afonso nodded a cross past Wilko de Vogt.

Scoring
BVV - Guilherme Afonso 35'
TOP - Revy Rosalia (Davy Zafarin) 46'
BVV - Guilherme Afonso (Angelo Cijnte) 90'

TOP - Wilko de Vogt; Yvo van Engelen, Regilio Jacobs, Leon van Dalen (Revy Rosalia 46'), Dirk Schoofs, Bart van Hintum, Charles Kazlauskas, Niek Ripson, Erik van der Ven, Davy Zafarin, Erik Quekel
