Tighe Dombrowski was the hero for IK Sirius as he notched two goals in the final seven minutes for a dramatic come from behind win against Jönköpings Södra IF.

After successfully filling in at central midfield earlier in the week, the versatile yank was back to his regular left back position as Sirius hopped into second place over idle Åtvidaberg and Sundvall.

Jönköpings Södra was able to take the lead against the run of play when midfielder Johan Karlefjärd struck the opener in the 26th minute.

Sirius continued to dominate possession and shots in goal, outshooting the visitors 17-2 by the final whistle, but were unable to find a fast equalizer.

The visitors bunkering tactics were successful until the 85th minute. Dombrowski gathered a ball inside the right side of the penalty box and sent in a shot that deflected in off the crossbar.

The hosts sensed blood and the #5 shirt pounced on a rebound in the first minute of extra time to slide home again from the right side of the box, much to the delight of an ecstatic Uppsala crowd.

After a two week break, Sirius wrap up the first half of the season with a visit to bottom dwellers Degerfors IF.
