The Ibrox crew will now play either Red Star Belgrade or Levadia Tallinn for a place in the group stage, pending the outcome when the two square off in Estonia on Wednesday night.

With the visitors up 2-0 from the first leg, Beasley nearly bagged an early extender. In the 11th minute, the speedster worked a give-and-go with Lee McCullough before firing wide.

Just past the half hour, Zeta made a strong bid to re-open the tie. Marko Ćetković beat three defenders to set up Bojan Ivanović, who watched his low drive stopped by Allan McGregor.

The teams traded a few squandered chances until Beasley put the final nail in the coffin with a goal nine minutes from time. The Indiana native, a target for monkey chants and worse all night, swooped in from the left and tucked his shot past home keeper Saša Ivanović.
