SPURS OUST READING
An early Robbie Keane goal was all Tottenham needed to outlast Reading in an FA Cup replay at the Madejski on Tuesday night.

The Ireland star pounced on Younes Kaboul's header off the bar in the 15th minute.

In the waning moments, Stephen Hunt rang the frame with a volley from the edge of the area, but there would be no Royal equalizer.

Bobby Convey went the distance for Reading, while #1 netminder Marcus Hahnemann was given the night off.

Scoring
TOTT - Robbie Keane 1 15'

Line-ups
REA - Adam Federici, Ulises De la Cruz, Ivar Ingimarsson, Alex Pearce (Cox 46'), Nicky Shorey (Stephen Hunt 66'), Liam Rosenior, Kalifa Cissé, James Harper, Bobby Convey, Leroy Lita, Shane Long

ON THE SIDELINE
Jonathan Spector watched from the bench as West Ham fell at Manchester City 1-0 to bow out of the FA Cup on Wednesday night.

Fulham saw their replay with Bristol Rovers delayed due to a soggy pitch, as did Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday.

Zak Whitbread was not involved as Millwall topped Walsall 2-1 to advance at home on Wednesday night.
