The win is the Dons' seventh league triumph in a row, though it is also one that Jemal Johnson had nearly no part of - the American striker came on as a substitute for Aaron Wilbraham in the 87th minute.

It took the Dons until the end of the first half to find the back of the net, but once Knight came though in the 45th minute, things only got better for Milton Keynes. Lloyd Dyer added a second in the 70th minute, with Wilbraham adding a third eight minutes later.

Knight would add a fourth just four minutes after that, putting the result beyond all doubt and further strengthening Milton Keynes' spot at the top of the League Two table.
