UNITED KEEP FULHAM REELING
Fulham's terrible run of form in the Premier League got even worse on Saturday, while Manchester United moved ever closer to the Premier league top spot with a 3-0 away win at Craven Cottage.

Eddie Johnson made his first full appearance in a Fulham uniform, while Brian McBride continued his comeback from injury with a start at striker. Kasey Keller and Carlos Bocanegra were unused substitutes, while Clint Dempsey was left out of the side all together.

United had some absences of their own, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney starting the game on the bench, but it didn't' seem to affect them at all as Owen Hargreaves gave the Red Devils the lead after just 15 minutes with a fine free kick.

United continued to pressure throughout the first half, with Carlos Tevez, Louis Saha and Nani all missing chances to double the United advantage.

Park Ji-Sung succeeded where his teammates failed, however, as his effort off a Paul Scholes cross hit the back of the net just seconds before the interval.

From then on, Fulham were literally hurting themselves, as midfielder Simon Davies added United's third by putting a John O'Shea cross through Antti Niemi's legs and into the back of his own net.

Fulham will try to break their three-game losing streak at Blackburn on Saturday.

RAMS HOLD SUNDERLAND
Given the way the season has been going for Derby County, their 0-0 home draw with Sunderland may almost be as special and rare as a victory would have been.

Eddie Lewis started and played the full 90 for Derby in the draw, while Benny Feilhaber was an unused substitute.

If nothing else, they kept a league shutout - their first since October of last year.

Even so, the Rams nearly did surrender the home points to a team that has yet to win away this season, but Michael Chopra was judged to have been offside on his 34th minute effort.

Derby will now travel to Chelsea next Wednesday.

Line-ups
DC - Roy Carroll; Marc Edworthy, Darren Moore, Alan Stubbs, James McEveley, Stephen Pearson, Mile Sterjovski (Craig Fagan 66'), Eddie Lewis, David Jones (Hossam Ghaly 57'), Kenny Miller (Robert Earnshaw 80'), Emanuel Villa

HARPER LIFTS ROYALS LATE
Reading finally stopped their epic winless streak on Saturday as James Harper fired a last-minute winner to give the Royals a 1-0 away victory over Middlesbrough.

Marcus Hahnemann started and played the full 90 for Reading, who gained a vital three points in their bid to stay above the relegation zone.

Harper's goal was just what was needed, but unfortunately it was just about the only exciting event in what was otherwise a dull and boring match.

The only other event worth noting came in the 77th minute, when Stewart Downing was booked for diving in the box, instead of being awarded the penalty kick most Boro fans thought appropriate.

Scoring
REA - James Harper 5 (Stephen Hunt) 90'

ROVERS BLANK NEWCASTLE
Brad Friedel was in top form as Blackburn Rovers stole three away points with a 1-0 with against Newcastle at St. James' Park.

Matt Derbyshire was the hero for Blackburn, finding himself alone in acres of space at the death, with nearly all the Newcastle team distracted up front looking for a winning goal at 0-0.

It was a goal that Newcastle tried and tried for, but would never get as they peppered Friedel's goal with 17 shots, nine of which were on goal.

Michael Owen was particularly unlucky; the England international missed a wide open chance having rounded Friedel in the 35th minute, and was then stoned by the American stopper twice more before the game was done.

Seventh place Rovers now welcome Fulham on Saturday.

BLA - Matt Derbyshire 3 (David Bentley) 90'

DOUBLE BURNEY RALLY DRAWS WATFORD
It looked like visiting Watford would get three points from this match when Jordan Stewart put the Hornets up 2-1 in the 85th minute, but Burnley's Robbie Blake equalized only minutes later and the game ended in a 2-2 draw.

American Jay DeMerit came in as a substitute in the 61st minute.

Darius Henderson struck first for Watford in the 23rd minute. Jobi McAnuff's corner found Henderson on the left side of the penalty area and he headed the ball into the net from about six yards out.

The home side was not able to equalize until the 75th minute when substitute Blake drilled a right-footed shot from 12 yards out into the top left of the net.

Watford struck what looked like a late winner only 10 minutes later when Stewart's left-footed shot from 12 yards out found the back of the net.

Blake scored his second of the game only minutes later to salvage a point from the match. Jon Harley crossed the ball to the striker, whose left-footed shot found the bottom of the goal from 12 yards out.

Watford is now in third place and host Norwich on March 4th.

LATE GOAL DOWNS MILLWALL
A late goal from Craig Disley led visiting Rovers over relegation battlers Millwall 1-0.

American Zak Whitbread did well in defense over 90 minutes for the Lions.

Millwall had an early chance when Jay Simpson's right-footed shot from 18 yards out, but Rovers keeper Steve Phillips saved.

Rovers almost took the lead in the second half when Rickie Lambert's header from about 12 yards out went over the bar.

The game looked as if it would end in a scoreless draw but Disley earned Rovers three points when he scored in stoppage time. Sean Rigg's cross from the left wing found him and his header from about 12 yards out found the bottom right of the goal.

Millwall is now only one point above the relegation zone in 18th place. They travel to League One leaders Swansea on Saturday.

DONS HOLD FIRST PLACE
MK Dons defeated Chester 1-0 Saturday at stadium:mk to remain at the top of the League Two table.

A Danny Swailes goal in the 57th minute helped Dons with their first home game since New Year's Day.

American striker Jemal Johnson had a shot on goal early in the game. Colin Cameron fed him the ball, but his shot from 14 yards out went wide of the net.

Johnson should have had an assist in the second half, but John Miles could not put the ball in the net from a tight angle. He had another opportunity a bit later when he darted between two defenders, but his shot was blocked by keeper John Danby.

Chester earned a penalty kick in the 50th minute, but Paul Butler's weak effort was saved by the keeper Willy Gueret.

Dons went ahead in the 57th minute when Cameron's corner found Swailes, whose volley struck net.
