Once clear atop the Jupiler League, Standard Liège have put their tabletop position in jeopardy by posting a third consecutive draw, a wasteful 0-0 result at Mouscron.

Oguchi Onyewu worked the full 90 minutes, nearly getting on the board midway through the first half.

After Igor De Camargo and squandered a pair of good opportunities, the US defender saw his header from Steven Defour's free kick stopped by Mouscron netminder Mark Volders.

At the half hour, Standard continued spurning scoring chances with Diemerci Mbokani firing over from close range. Ten minutes later, Milan Jovanovic rang the post from an Axel Witsel rebound.

Just after the break, Volders did well to paw away Mbokani's try from a Witsel cross and Jovanovic shot wildly over with the Congo striker wide open.

In the 50th minute, Standard keeper Rorys Espinoza went to full stretch to tip an Adnan Custovic effort over. Seconds later, he raced out to smother with Jean-Philippe Charlet bearing down.

Just past the hour, Volders made the save of the game by keeping a De Camargo header out. Standard's final big chance went by the wayside when substitute Salim Toama found woodwork from distance in the 83rd minute.
