WHITE OFF AS AGF SLIP AT HOME
Aarhus GF lost 2-1 at home to FC Nordsjælland on Saturday afternoon in a game that will be remembered mostly for poor refereeing, including a dubious second yellow card for Jeremiah White.

Referee Jesper Overgaard first made himself noticed when he missed an obvious penalty committed by AGF keeper Steffen Rasmussen on Bajram Fetai after 13 minutes.

Eight minutes later, however, justice was served when Martin Bernburg headed in a beautiful cross from Canadian Issey Nakajima-Farran for the opening goal.

Only two minutes later, Bernburg doubled the score when he slotted in a rebound after a corner kick.

It took 30 minutes of massive pressure against the visitor's goal before Alex Valencia finished a move inside the box with a shot into the top of the net to bring back some hope for the hosts.

In the next minute, however, that hope took a blow when Overgaard showed White his second yellow card for a foul on Henrik Kildentoft. Television footage, however, showed that while White went in aggressively, he didn't touch Kildentoft, who was pushed from behind by White's teammate Garra Dembelé.

Overgaard failed again a minute later, when he missed a blatant handball in the penalty area by AGF's Ulrik Lindkvist.

Despite the loss, Aarhus stay above the relegation line, two points ahead of Brøndby. The club has filed a complaint with the Danish FA in an attempt to avoid suspension for White.

RED-HOT AAB SURVIVE ROAD THRILLER
After a tough but impressive UEFA Cup game against Sampdoria, Danny Califf's Aalborg BK took their fourth straight league win as they traveled to face SAS Liga cellar dwellers Lyngby BK.

Surprisingly, it was the hosts who struck first when Kim Aabech sent a long ball into the area for Christian Holst, who headed it past keeper Karim Zaza for the opener after 10 minutes.

The lead lasted less than a minute before Jacob Bresemann brought down Rade Prica in the penalty area and Michael Jacobsen equalized from the spot.

Lyngby went ahead once again 15 minutes later when Califf's clearance hit Michael Jacobsen, giving Jesper Håkansson space to tap it in.

Aalborg equalized for a second time in the 37th minute when Siyabonga Nomvethe finished a run down the right flank with a perfect cross to Prica, who headed it in from point blank.

Six minutes later, Lyngby keeper Rune Pedersen punched a corner kick straight to Prica, whose shot bounced over the keeper to make it 3-2.

Lyngby would take advantage of another defensive mistake when Jacobsen failed to clear the ball eight minutes into the second half. Christian Holst tackled it in for his second of the afternoon.

Aalborg got the final word 20 minutes into the second half when Nomvethe served a flat square ball at the feet of Andreas Johansson, who made no mistake from close range.

Aalborg have now joined the front race in earnest. They are currently fifth, even on points with Odense BK and one point behind Horsens, who hold third place.
