Jeremiah White gave another man of the match performance as Aarhus GF took home a well-deserved 1-0 win over Randers FC at Essex Park.

The American played 65 minutes at right midfield before being replaced by Alex Valencia.

The lone goal of the game came after 22 minutes when White went on a raid down the right flank before sending Dioh Williams through with a deep pass. The newly signed Liberian striker proceeded to round Issah Ahmed before slotting the ball past keeper Kevin Stuhr-Ellegaard.

Thomas Dalgaard did his best to grab the equalizer for Randers, but keeper Steffen Rasmussen prevented him from scoring in the 34th minute, and two minutes later, the crossbar was in the way.

Randers came out to the second half with a more offensive attitude, but this only opened up for more chances at their own end.

Williams could have added his second, while Peter Graulund and Jerry Lucena came close, but Ellegaard managed to deny any damage.

The win sends AGF above the relegation line, leaving Brøndby and Lyngby in the muck.
