VIBORG RISE FROM CELLAR
Robbie Russell watched from the bench as his team Viborg FF recorded their second win of the season against Aarhus GF who had Jeremiah White on the field for the entire 90 minutes of the 2-0 loss.

The home side dominated the game from the beginning. Steffen Højer had an open chance after 15 minutes, but mistimed his finish.

With eight minutes to go of the first half, Petter Furuseth Olsen sent in a cross. A completely mis-timed clearance from Kim Madsen left Christian Muomaife alone with keeper Steffen Rasmussen and the Senegalese striker made the most of his chance.

Viborg acquired Srdjan Radonjic on loan from Odense BK in the final hours of the transfer window, and in the 67th minute, he replaced Muomaife in the Viborg offense. With eight minutes to go, Jakob Glerup sent a through ball to the Montenegrin, who smashed it into the near corner.

The result sends Viborg above the relegation line into ninth place as AGF sinks to the bottom. Next weekend, Viborg play host to Lyngby, while AGF travel to Randers.
