RANDERS LOSE AT HOME
Randers FC recorded their second straight loss when Odense BK took home a 2-0 result from Essex Park in front of 4,660 spectators on Sunday afternoon.

Lee Nguyen gave a decent performance as he played the full 90 at right midfield for the home side. Will John made his league debut when he replaced Carsten Fredgaard in the 76th.

The game was only nine minutes old when a cross from Jonas Borring found the head of an open Hans Henrik Andreasen, who made it 1-0 from close range.

The home side seemed to wake up after the goal and it was Nguyen who tested OB keeper Arek Onyszko with a good long distance effort at the half hour mark.

Instead, it was soon 2-0 when a corner kick bobbled around in the area before finally once again finding the head of Andreasen, who scored his second.

Both teams had their chances in a more even second half, but the scoreline held.

Randers remain in eighth place but are now even on points with Brøndby IF before next weekend's trip to bottom dwellers Lyngby.

AGF REMAIN GOALLESS IN 2008
With 450 league minutes played in 2008, Aarhus GF are still chasing their first goal after Monday evening's 0-0 draw with relegation rivals Viborg FF in front of 14,077 spectators at NRGi Park.

Jeremiah White played the full 90 minutes for AGF at right midfield, although his performance did not stand out in a generally below average game. Robbie Russell, meanwhile, did not dress for Viborg.

Viborg needed the points most and they started off accordingly with two early attempts from Rurik Gislason and a rebound attempt on the post by Simon Nagel.

Aarhus' sole attempt of the first half came after 12 minutes, but John Alvbåge saved Kari Árnason's shot.

AGF dominated the second half, and with 15 minutes left, it was Jesper Blicher who forced a save from Alvbåge with a shot from the edge of the box, but the goal drought continues for White and his teammates.

With the draw, AGF maintain their six-point lead on Viborg in the race to stay above the line. They travel to meet FC Nordsjælland next weekend.

Line-ups
AGF - Steffen Rasmussen; Frederik Krabbe, Anders Kure (Kim Madsen 38'), Ole Budtz, Michael Lumb, Jeremiah White, Jerry Lucena, Kari Árnason Jesper Blicher (Alex Valencia 89'), Peter Graulund, Dioh Williams
