FC Dallas forward Kenny Cooper suffered a broken leg in last night's match up with the LA Galaxy, following a harsh challenge from Tyrone Marshall.

Cooper was clearly hurt on the play leading Marshall to be immediately shown a red card for 'serious foul play'.

Cooper has been one of the more dependable Dallas players, having appeared in 29 consecutive games and had been tipped to represent the United States in the Copa America in Venezuela

Cooper is expected to miss at least eight weeks.
