▪ Szetela Likely to Move Soon

Frank Simek and the Owls did the business against Hartlepool at the last possible moment, while Bobby Convey worked a 100-minute shift in Reading's extra time victory over Swansea.

SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY 2-1 HARTLEPOOL
Frank Simek went the distance as Sheffield Wednesday edged through to the next round with a last minute extra time goal against League One side Hartlepool United.

Ian Moore gave Hartlepool the lead 10 minutes into the second half, but Deon Burton equalized 13 minutes later. Yoann Folly scored the winner in the 120th minute.

SHREWSBURY 0-1 FULHAM
Carlos Bocanegra and Clint Dempsey each played the full 90 minutes for Fulham as they moved past League Two side Shrewsbury Town with a narrow 1-0 win. Kasey Keller and injured captain Brian McBride were not on the game roster.

The winning goal came 14 minutes into the second half through Senegal striker Diomansy Kamara.

SWANSEA 0-1 READING
Bobby Convey played 100 minutes before being replaced by Simon Cox as Reading edged past Swansea City of League One. Marcus Hahnemann did not dress for the game.

England Under-21 striker Leroy Lita secured the win for Reading with his goal in the 106th minute.

ON THE SIDELINE
Jonathan Spector was out of the roster as West Ham United beat Bristol Rovers 2-1.

Neither Eddie Lewis nor Benny Feilhaber were in uniform as Derby County lost to Blackpool after a penalty shootout. Regulation time ended 1-1 and each side added another in extra time.

Jay DeMerit watched from the stands as Watford lost 2-0 to Southend United.

Cory Gibbs remained on the mend as Charlton pulled out a thrilling 4-3 win against Stockport.
