American midfielder Danny Szetela came on in the 74th minute to help his club move to within four points of tabletop Chievo.

Gabriele Cioffi appeared to have the home side on the board shortly before halftime, but his drive struck the crossbar.

Caracciolo connected for the game's only goal in the 58th minute, his fourth since returning to the club in January.

Brescia will now visit last place Ravenna on Saturday.
