Aalesund FK keeper Adin Brown made a different kind of save on Monday night, nodding home a last gasp corner kick to earn the promoted visitors a stunning 2-2 share against Norwegian giants Rosenborg.

The beginning of the match was relatively calm, but the hosts started digging in in the 19th minute when Aalesund's American netminder was called on to turn away Steffen Iversen.

Brown handled business on a Daniel Braaten shot in the 22nd minute, then got some help from his defense on a corner kick scramble 11 minutes later.

The former New England Rev saved his best of the opening period for last, making a highlight reel stop on Marek Sapara in the 37th minute.

It may have been Brown's work that got the visitors into halftime level, but it was Jeffrey Aubynn who put them ahead two minutes after. The youngster got to the end of a Joakim Austnes feed to send the away fans into hysterics.

Eight minutes later, former Spurs man Iversen pulled his side level by expertly turning home a Fredrik Stoor cross.

It would be only another seven minutes before RBK had the advanatage as Braaten deposited the Iversen flick of a Christer Basma entry ball.

Brown then went back to work, dealing well with a Stoor try in the 67th minute, punching away a dangerous cross in the 72nd minute and making another cool save on Mikael Dorsin in the 76th minute. The Man of the Match was far from done, with excellent stops on Braaten and Iversen in the waning moments setting the stage for his added time heroics.

The American came forward for a stoppage time corner kick and promptly pushed a close range header into the net for the draw.
