▪ Davies Jets In for Cup Draw

With a 2-2 away draw against Finnish side FC Honka Espoo, Aalborg BK have given themselves the advantage before next weekend's return leg in the second round of the UEFA Intertoto Cup.

Danny Califf played the first 27 minutes in AaB's defense with the captain's band around his arm before leaving with hamstring tightness.

Swedish midfielder Mattias Lindström gave the visitors the perfect start with the opening goal in the first minute, but the lead only lasted seven minutes until Roni Porokara equalized from the penalty spot.

Rade Prica brought Aalborg back in the lead with a goal in the 23rd minute, but again, the Finns pulled back through Jami Puustinen's goal in the 31st.

The return leg is scheduled for July 14th and the winner will progress to the third round, where the most likely opponent will be Belgian side Gent, who beat Cliftonville of Northern Ireland 2-0 in their first leg match.
